The UAAM is a museum, library and research and educational center on Ukrainian immigration to Michigan.
BRIEF
Build a new website for the UAAM, launched in 1958 in the heart of Hamtramck, Michigan. The goals for the new website was to streamline the user experience to encourage new visitors, memberships and donations. The museum also needed a new events calendar and an online museum shop.
APPROACHTo make sure the site was accessible and easy to use for a wide audience, I used a minimal design that would let images from the museum’s collections speak for themselves. I built and launched the museum’s first online shop, introducing a new fundraising channel and featuring new merch that I designed using new UAAM logos.
